What we collect, why we hold it, and what we will never do with it. Written to be read, not to be survived.
LAST UPDATED 24 OCTOBER 2026
The short version: we hold what the product needs to work, your clients' details belong to you, and we neither sell data nor send marketing email. Everything below is the long version of those three sentences.
1 · Who we are
decorics.com and app.decorics.com are operated by Decorics, Baner, Pune, MH - 411045, India. In this policy “we” means that entity and “you” means the designer who holds an account. If you are visiting decorics.com or a designer's portfolio, section 8 is the part about you.
2 · What we collect
- Your account — your name, your email address, and your password, which is scrambled before it is saved so that nobody here can read it.
- Your studio — business name, GSTIN, address, bank and UPI details, and your logo. These appear on the documents you send, which is the point of them.
- Your work — the clients, quotations, invoices, receipts, payments and portfolio photographs you create.
- Basic records of your visits — which pages were opened and from roughly where, so we can keep the service running and spot anyone misusing it. Section 8 says how visits are counted.
- How you found us — when you sign up, the page or link that brought you, such as our pricing page or an Instagram post. We keep it with your account, to learn which of the things we do actually help designers find us.
3 · Why we hold it
To run the product you signed up for, and for nothing else. Studio details appear on your documents because that is what puts your name on them. Client records exist so the product can show you where a project stands.
4 · What we never do
We do not sell your information, or your clients'. We do not show advertising, and nothing we measure is used for it. We do not send you marketing email — the only emails we send are the ones you asked for by doing something. And we do not watch whether your clients opened or clicked the emails you send them. We note only whether each one arrived, because a quotation sitting there marked “sent” that never reached anybody is worse than no record at all.
5 · Your clients' information belongs to you
The client names, addresses and project details you enter are yours. We hold them for you and use them only to do the job you asked for — make your quotation, send it where you said, and show you what happened. We never get in touch with your clients ourselves.
6 · Who else handles it
Running Decorics means a few trusted companies help us do it. They only ever act on our instructions, and none of them may use your information for anything of their own.
- Supabase — Stores your account and your work, and checks you are you when you sign in.
- Amazon Web Services — Runs the website and the app, stores your photographs and documents, and sends the emails you choose to send.
- Cloudflare — Brings visitors to the site, helps your pages load quickly, and counts visits without cookies.
- Google — Measures visits to decorics.com, to designers' portfolios and to the sign-up pages, unless the visitor turns it off, and confirms it is you if you sign in with Google.
- Sentry — Tells us when something breaks: the error and the page it happened on, never a recording of your screen.
- Zoho — Hosts our support mailbox, where your emails to us and the messages from our contact form arrive.
7 · What is public on purpose
The portfolio you publish at decorics.com/yourname is meant to be seen, and so is your entry in the designers directory — that is the whole point of them. Both stay in your hands: unpublish and the portfolio goes, and you can take yourself out of the directory whenever you like. Nothing from your quotations, invoices or clients is ever public.
8 · Cookies, and counting visits
This part is for everyone who opens decorics.com or a designer's portfolio, with an account or without one.
- Every visit is counted, without cookies. Cloudflare counts how many people open each page. It stores nothing on your device and does not follow you from site to site.
- Google Analytics, unless you turn it off. On decorics.com, on designers' portfolios, and on the pages where you sign up and log in, Google Analytics sets cookies that tell us:
- which pages people read, and how they found us;
- which buttons they use, and whether they signed up or sent a designer an enquiry;
- roughly where they are, and on what kind of device.
- Google's limits. Google does not keep your IP address, nothing it measures is used for advertising, and the records are deleted after 14 months. Google Analytics is never used inside the app once you are working, or on the quotations and documents designers send their clients.
- Turning it off: choose Decline on the banner, or at any time “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page on decorics.com and on every portfolio. Google Analytics stops at once, its cookies are removed, and it stays off on this device. Accept simply closes the banner.
- Anything else on your device is there to remember a choice you made:
- light or dark, and your answer to the banner, so we don't ask again;
- in the app, the cookie that keeps you signed in.
9 · How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Moving from Pro to Free deletes nothing: every quotation, invoice, receipt and photograph stays where it was. If you ask us to close your account we remove your data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
10 · Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, correct anything wrong, or have it deleted. Most of it you can already see and change inside the product. For the rest, write to support@decorics.com. Note that your sign-in email cannot be changed once set — that is a product limitation, not a refusal.
11 · Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so in the product rather than quietly editing this page. The date at the top is the version you are reading.
