Vendor payment tracker, free in Excel.
Every advance to your carpenter, every hardware bill and every rupee your client has paid, in one sheet that totals each vendor and each project.
Free sample and blank sheet. No sign-up. Excel and Google Sheets.
Who you've paid, per vendor and per project.
The Summary tab adds the log up two ways: what each vendor has had from you, and each project's money in and out, against what's still to come from the client.
- Advance, part or final — so you know which payment it was
- Cash, UPI, bank or cheque — noted with every payment
The sheet shows who you've paid. Decorics shows what you've made.
A sheet adds up money in and money out. It can't tell your carpenter's advance, the client's money passing through your hands, from your own site travel, so the difference looks like profit when it isn't. Decorics keeps the two apart and works out profit from money actually received.
See Project moneyOne sheet for every project you're running.
Four sheets in one file: the Sharma Residence's payments and their Summary, filled in, and a blank tracker with a Summary of its own.
Payments out
Date, project, vendor, trade, what it was for, bill number, mode (cash, UPI, bank or cheque), and whether it was an advance, a part or the final payment.
Payments in
Money from each client, against the stage it was for: booking, design sign-off, handover.
Summary per project
The quotation, what has come in, what has gone out, and what's still to receive from the client.
What each vendor has had
Every payment to a vendor adds up on the Summary, so “how much have I given you?” takes a second to answer.
Who paid the vendor
You, or the client straight to the vendor, kept apart so neither is counted twice.
Ready to print
A4 landscape, fitted to the width, with the totals locked against a stray keystroke.

Why not just use my bank statement?
Your bank shows money moving, not which project it was for or what it paid for. A UPI payment to a carpenter looks the same whether it's for the Sharma kitchen or the next job.
Can I track more than one project?
Yes. Each payment has a project column, and the Summary totals each project you name on it.
Does it show my profit?
It shows money in and money out. A true profit needs the client's own costs, like a carpenter they pay through you, kept apart from your studio's — which is what Decorics' Project money does.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets: the totals and the Summary work there, as they do in Excel and Numbers.
Is it free?
Yes. Download it, change it, and use it on every project. There's no sign-up and no email to give.

Every rupee in and out, per project.
Decorics gives each client payment its own receipt, keeps vendor payments against the project, and shows profit so far with no formula to break.
